Carol Beaugard from FDU radio brought Bluegrass Express to MoFiddles in Livingston, NJ this evening and it was great. All of the musicians in the band are excellent technicians.The bass player seemed exceptionally talented to me.
Carol has a voice that is easy to listen to and she really puts a her heart into every song.
The song choice included some bluegrass standards and some not so familiar.
MoFiddles is a great venue and Bluegrass Express did a great job.
Carol, if you read this maybe you can add in the guys names.
Mason Dixon and Lost Ramblers
Monday, February 8th, 2010Mason Dixon and the Lost Ramblers were at the February Shindig. The crowd was small but the music was good. I spent some time jamming with friends. That’s allways a highlight.
Bluegrass Night at Kempton
Sunday, January 24th, 2010Went Kempton last night and heard Santara Wind, Country Grass, and Louie Setzer. It was a long drive but a good time. I was glad I went. Thought I would see Peg Elia from Homespun or Scott Eager but niether were there. I did meet Dick Saylor though. I’ve since visited his website – very impressive and now listed in my favorites. Thanks to Lynn Peters for a good time and a great concert.
First Shindig was a good time

Three of the bands at the first shindig of the season were Cabinet, Hillybilly Water and Plexiglass. There was a decent crowd, a lot of jamming going on a nd a good time was had by all.
